• Elk Mountain Skiing
  Located 30 miles from Goodleigh Manor, Elk was started in 1959, when a mountain became a new recreation complex for skiing. Elk Mountain, as it was named, started out with only a handful of trails. Today Elk Mountain Ski Resort has evolved into a sprawling 27 trails, and the most challenging terrain in Pennsylvania!



• Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees (AAA)
  PNC Field, home of the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees, the farm team of Major League Baseball's New York Yankees. The stadium is located at exit 182 off interstate 81, just south of the city of Scranton, a short 1.5 hour drive away.



• City of Wilkes-Barre
  The Greater Wilkes-Barre area is home to year-round festivals and events, the state's first slots casino and live harness racing at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, a 14-screen theater and shops at Northampton & Main, countless shops and restaurants. • Harvey's Lake
  Located only 2.5 miles from Goodleigh Manor, Harvey's Lake is Pennsylvania's largest natural lake.



• Susquehanna River
  Fish on the Susquehanna river, located 6 miles from the property. The largest river lying entirely within the United States, the Susquehanna River has become the home for various college crew teams, most notably Binghamton University, Susquehanna University, and University of Scranton.
